I am one of your member of the 14 JULY HOKKAIDO LAVENDER tour group. I write to compliment your tour guide in Hokkaido, Mr SHIIYA Yasuyo.
I have not encounter a tour guide who is so committed and takes much pride in his profession. I am awed by his passion.
An excellent and eloquent Japanese-English speaking tour guide with high EQ imparts his selfless knowledge. He engages well with the tour members and instilled much interest in the history, geography and culture of Hokkaido. Gaining an in depth knowledge and insight.
Organised, meticulous and conscientious in his work. He had prepared informative detailed print outs, simplified the maps, provided us with brochures and explained every detail in the most methodical way for our easy understanding and reference. Every question asked will be answered with details.
He exercised limitless dedication to his visitors with his care, patience and kindness. Every enquiry is his mission to accomplish.
He is very resourceful and helps members to find items that they may not know where to purchase and extended his network and resources to meet their needs. He has his information at his fingertips like a walking google map !
On the free & easy day in Sapporo, Yass San has even set up a mini H.I.S. help desk at the hotel lobby to guide us anytime we need his help. Maps, brochures, stationeries all ready at the desk to navigate us wherever and whenever we need his services. Such commitment need to be commemorated.
Furthermore, there was no commercial buying on board the coach which had made the trip less disturbing.
Double Thumbs up for Yass San!
Complimenting with him, was Captains of the coach, Mr Ohira (15-19Jul) & Mr Sega (21Jul).
They were skilful and streetwise captains that demands our respect. They extended their work hours despite their scheduled work hours to bring us safely to our destinations. Very attentive and always ever ready waiting patiently for us whenever we exceeded our scheduled time at our place of interests.
As we have a few senior folks in the group, the wheelchair and umbrellas were always ready at their disposal which brings warmth of love and care to them.
The chemistry and excellent teamwork exercised between the tour guide and captains was fantastic and have made the group of 21 members mingled without restrictions and we became a big family altogether in just a few days.
I believe everyone had truly enjoyed the trip with high spirits and had a wonderful memory of Summer in Hokkaido.
Looking forward to more trips conducted by Yass San.
Many thanks for the trip well organised. Ganbatte 頑張って!
